In addition to the provisions mentioned in the Act and this regulation, the following bases will be used for transfer of employees:-
(a) Employees who have served three consecutive years in a remote area or who have repeatedly served in such an area for six years or more will be given preference for transfer to the place as per their demand. (b) An employee who has been appointed by the Public Service Commission in one of the development areas shall not be transferred to another development area without having served five years in that area,
(c) Handicapped and disabled employees will be given priority for transfer to the places requested by them,
(d) When the employee is transferred, generally, he will not be transferred from the position or office from which he was previously transferred to the same position in the same office.
(e) Employees above the age of fifty years shall not be transferred to remote areas unless requested by them,
(f) An employee whose mandatory retirement is one year or less will not be transferred unless requested in writing.
